Rebecca Savoie
Background
Isaac (9) is a sweet and sensitive boy who enjoys baseball, soccer, swimming, and playing Bakugan with this step-brother. He is a bi-lingual and brilliant student who scored in the 98th percentile in standardized english and mathematics testing in Tennessee. Rebecca (7) is a creative, charismatic and funloving little girl who enjoys swimming, softball, singing music with her Dad and wearing matching clothes and playing “twins” with her 6 year old stepsister. She is a bi-lingual and brilliant student who is very popular with her elementary school classmates in Tennessee. Isaac and his sister Rebecca (7) were kidnapped to Japan by their Japanese mother, in violation of Tennesse State Law and the U.S. International Parental Kidnapping Crimes Act in August 2009, in violation of her Green Card agreement and in breach of a court-ordered joint-custody agreement. The children’s abducter perjured herself in a U.S. court in order to gain access to the children’s passports (which were being held at the courthouse to prevent the possibility of kidnapping). Isaac and Rebecca were taken to Japan without any notice the day before school was to begin and all of their childhood toys, clothing and other belongings were abandoned by the abductor. The perpetrator has since prevented any further contact with the children’s family in the United States, including their father, aunts and uncles, great grandmother and three step-siblings in Tennessee.
